From the Gin & Tonic

The Proper Un.

The standard. The everyday.


  • 50 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 150 ml tonic water
  • Lemon wheel

Build over ice in a tall glass. Stir once. Garnish with a lemon wheel.

From the Negroni

The Mardy Un.

Bitter and sulky.


  • 30 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 30 ml Campari
  • 30 ml sweet vermouth
  • Orange peel

Stir over ice. Strain into a rocks glass. Express the peel.

From the Martini

The Cold Un.

Bracing. Two ingredients, ice-cold.


  • 60 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 10 ml dry vermouth
  • Lemon twist

Stir long and hard over plenty of ice. Strain into a chilled glass. Twist the peel over the surface.

From the Tom Collins

The Long Un.

Tall drink with lemon.


  • 50 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml sugar syrup
  • Soda water

Shake gin, lemon and syrup with ice. Strain into a tall glass over fresh ice. Top with soda.

From the French 75

The Fancy Un.

For when champagne's involved.


  • 30 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • Champagne or English sparkling

Shake gin, lemon and syrup with ice. Strain into a flute. Top with the fizz.

From the Bramble

The Fruity Un.

Wild bramble syrup over crushed ice.


  • 50 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 25 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml sugar syrup
  • 15 ml crème de mûre

Shake gin, lemon and syrup with ice. Strain over crushed ice. Drizzle the mûre on top so it bleeds down.

From the White Lady

The White Rose.

Yorkshire's flower, served up.


  • 40 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 20 ml Cointreau
  • 20 ml lemon juice

Shake hard with ice. Double-strain into a coupe. No garnish.

From the Last Word

The Last Un.

One for closing time.


  • 20 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 20 ml green Chartreuse
  • 20 ml maraschino
  • 20 ml lime juice

Shake hard with ice. Double-strain into a coupe.

From the Gimlet

The Neat Un.

Two ingredients, no fuss.


  • 50 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 25 ml lime cordial

Stir over ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.

From the Aviation

Ey Up, Blue Sky.

Pale violet, lifts you.


  • 45 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 10 ml maraschino
  • 5 ml crème de violette

Shake hard with ice. Double-strain into a coupe.

From the Hanky Panky

The Cheeky Un.

Bitter Italian heart.


  • 45 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 45 ml sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Fernet-Branca
  • Orange peel

Stir over ice. Strain into a chilled coupe. Express the orange peel.

From the Clover Club

The Pink Un.

Raspberry froth.


  • 45 ml Steel City Gin®
  • 15 ml lemon juice
  • 15 ml raspberry syrup
  • 1 egg white

Dry-shake without ice to build the foam. Shake again with ice. Double-strain into a coupe.
